In Times Like This

Last Tuesday I went to UP Manila to submit my requirements for a Master in Public Health degree. I had them all, even the additional PRC license photocopy...until I was asked for an authenticated birth certificate. Duh? I said it was not listed in the list of requirements. I was answered with "Pasensya na po, di po kasi updated itong form." So I had to go the Makati City Hall's NSO, which is the nearest and got it at past 3 pm. I submitted it just this afternoon.

Then I went to see a dermatologist. Yeah, it really cost me but I know she's good, aside from the fact that she is popular, having a clinic in Glorietta and Binondo.

In the evening, my acne must have returned...I was told that the parish cancelled our reservation for the following day for the use of one of its halls for the Household Leaders Training which was done a month ago. Our speaker backed out. My training ministry partner wants me to do everything. Naturally, I refused. Because I had to go to a wake that night. And because he is the brother. In SFC, we practice exercise of the headship for the man. Well...everything turned out well. We had talk 4 of the HLT yesterday. Ü

Paggalang sa Lupang Hinirang

Tuwing Lunes ay meron kaming flag ceremony. Sa aking palagay, dapat lahat ng nasa paligid ay nagbibigay-galang sa Lupang Hinirang, kahit na regular na empleyado ka, direktor, hardinero, dyanitor, o guwardiya.

Kanya-kanya man tayong opinyon, sa aking pananaw, nararapat lamang na magpugay sa ating pambansang awit. Subalit may mga hindi pa rin sumasang-ayon.

Kaya naging isyu ang pagpansin ko sa isang dyanitor na panay ang walis habang inaawit ang Lupang Hinirang. Sinabi ko ito sa isang dyanitress na nakarating sa isa pang dyanitress at sa inhinyero namin. Kaysa naman daw maging marumi ang paligid.

Duh!
